God’s plans come to fruition. It may take decades or even centuries, but His will happens. If this is true of destruction, it is equally true of construction. If He wills it, He will build it.
When the peace of God permeates our souls, we inherently know that even if the very worst happens, the best is yet to come.
Wise men and women set their faces toward the Savior in the last hours before Christmas.
If we live in the wilderness long enough, we’ll eventually see it bloom.
When we receive Jesus, in fullness, we also receive both the will and the means to make peace with others.
The good news this Christmas is this: His light is still careening toward us.
While our tendency is to turn up the carols, activity and festivity, this year I am choosing to intentionally turn it all down.
